20 February 2019 – Kent Live

The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust has apologised after failing to provide the “highest standards of care” which then contributed to the deaths of three patients.

The Trust runs Tunbridge Wells Hospital and Maidstone Hospital, and said that in the six months to March 2018, patient safety incidents contributed to the deaths of three people under its care.

The hospitals said assessments had been made to “ensure every lesson is learnt“.
