People with bladder cancer waiting up to five months for treatment

Patients with bladder cancer are having to wait nearly five months for treatment, far beyond the 62 days that NHS rules say is the longest delay anyone should face.

People with the disease are being forced to endure long waits due to a “loophole” in NHS cancer waiting time guidance, which charities say should be closed urgently.
