NHS England has announced that the running of the NHS cervical screening programme administration will be removed from Capita and brought back in house.
Speaking in front of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) this afternoon,
NHS England Chief Executive, Simon Stevens, spoke in front of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) about how he is not ‘satisfied’ with how the private company has run the cervical screening programme. The phased transition means it will be back in house in June.
