Worthing care home rapped over failure to halt accidents

26 March 2019 – Argus

A care home was ordered to improve when officials found accidents were not managed after a resident suffered a series of falls.

CQC inspectors also reported there was insufficient management of the risk of infection and therefore graded Camowen care home, in Parkfield Road, Worthing, an overall “requires improvement”.

It was asked to improve on safety, effectiveness and leadership. However, its other two key services, caring and responsiveness, were rated as good.
