Doctor who groped heart attack patient’s breasts struck off medical register

A doctor who was convicted of sexually assaulting a female patient has now been struck off the medical register.

Rajeshkumar Mehta was working as a locum at a Sparkhill walk-in surgery in Birmingham, when he groped a patient’s breasts after she told him she was worried she was having a heart attack.

Mr Mehta was found guilty of sexual assault, and jailed for 15 months in April 2018.
