The Inquiry will publish its report into allegations of child sexual abuse at Ealing Abbey and St Benedict’s School at midday on 24.10.2019.
The report forms part of the English Benedictine Congregation case study, within the wider investigation into the Roman Catholic Church.
Five days of public hearings were held into Ealing Abbey from 04-08.02.2019. The Inquiry heard from former pupils who described being sexually abused there, as well as senior figures from the school and abbey.
The hearing examined how Ealing Abbey, St Benedict’s School and other institutions, such as the police and the Crown Prosecution Service responded to allegations of child sexual abuse.
The full report and executive summary will be published on the Inquiry’s website.
In addition, the Inquiry is holding two weeks of overarching public hearings in the Roman Catholic Church investigation from 28.10.2019 – 08.11.2019.
