New NHS app will mean pregnant women can have blood pressure to be checks at home

06 October 2019 – Telegraph

All expectant mothers are to be given access to a new digital record, so they can view test results, monitor their baby’s movements and access their medical records, instead of having to visit hospitals.

Those who suffer from high blood pressure – which can cause deadly complications – will be offered home monitors, to connect to their app, allowing them to keep a close check on their condition.
