Cambridge baby loss charity Petals reinstates hospital counselling

03 December 2019 – BBC News

The Pregnancy Expectations, Trauma and Loss Society (Petals) service at the Rosie Hospital, Cambridge, was terminated after hoped-for NHS funding fell through. The service costs £70,000 per year.

The clinical commissioning group said at the time it was not able to provide funds due to its financial situation.

Public donations enabled the service to be reinstated.
