Three nurses were subjected to a misconduct hearing by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in London during November and December 2019.
The nurses, Maria Coomber, Amanda Lethaby and Monica Watterson were working at the Tyspane Care Home in Braunton at the time.
Reports of the hearings, published on the NMC website, revealed claims of abuse at the home, including one resident being slapped, had her nose held and her head shaken by a care assistant.
It was also claimed that another resident was made to hit herself with her own arm and that a care assistant had made inappropriate sexual comments towards both residents and staff members.
Two were suspended and the third was cautioned.
