A&E: Longest waiting times hit a new record in Wales

20 February 2020 – BBC News

The number of patients spending over 12 hours in A&E in Wales hit a peak again in January.

6,882 patients faced long waits, 226 more than in December. No patient should have to wait that long.

The Welsh Government said it expected improvements.

Ambulance response times improved and hit their target for the first time since October.
