21 June 2020 – BBC News

An Office for National Statistics survey during 04.05.2020 and 17.05.2020 involved nearly 15,000 people.  The results revealed that the number of coronavirus cases within the community is staying relatively stable, showing that one in 400 people in England were infected.

Overall 0.25% of participants tested positive for the virus – similar to the 0.27% figure provided by the programme last week, giving an indication that roughly 137,000 people in England could be currently infected.
